9 x 5.5 inches, 23 x 14 cms, xxiv (including half-title) + 352 + 130 pages. Uncut as issued in publisher's original blue boards, early quarter vellum (?) spine, titled on the spine in ink.
Somewhat dusty externally although internally very clean - a nice example.

A critical examination of the real state of the English economy with chapters on the effects of the late Wars (the Napoleonic War and the American War of 1812) on finances and industry; on the general rise of prices during the War; on currency and exchanges; on agriculture; on the Poor Law system; on the theories of other
economists including Malthus.
Overall, some 175 years later, it's hard to avoid saying Plus ça change ...

Uncommon and hard to find in any reasonable condition, but particularly rare, as here, with its half-title and in publisher's original boards.
